FRIENDS! PROJECT

DESCRIPTION:

Watch your student build an 8-foot friendship pyramid--customized for your school’s climate--and filled to the brim with drama. Help them grasp the values necessary to build meaningful friendships. Listen as children’s literature reinforces these messages. Send each child back to class with a “Friendship Triangle.” Each Friendship Triangle contains all the values addressed in the assembly, to be retrieved as needed in school and at home.

GOAL:

To hand your students the tools of a lifetime, that will help them become “heart smart” as well as head smart. For example, bullying and cliques are addressed through the values of “Courage” and “Respect.” Students are given tools to relate appropriately with others in class, during lunch, and during recess.
